It's a clever bike route that they sell you. They tell you the bike route is dedicated for bikes. So you're thinking it's some wine vineyard that has beautiful dirt trails just for bicycles. Lol it's really a paved bike path by the rail tracks. Which starts off in the city. So it's not very pretty. But after an hour you're in the country looking at wine vineyards. But the E bikes are in good condition. Maybe a little overpriced because all they're doing is giving you a bike. But you're a tourist so it's worth it.

Bike shop guy was cool. The bikes work great. The only issue we had was 1 person in our group couldn't make it and they wouldn't refund the money spend for her. Shop owner blamed Cool Sonoma, Cool Sonoma told me the shop owner denied the refund. Moral of the story is make sure everyone shows up or you lose if you book with Cool Sonoma.

The bike had everything we needed - a map, lock, bottle of water, and a zipper pouch to hold extra items. We were originally concerned about riding on the shoulder of the roads heading up Silverado Trail and down Napa Trail, but quickly realized the shoulders were very wide and we felt quite safe. We will rent bikes again on a future trip to Napa! Great job, Chris, on setting up a solid business with repeat customers.

This is our second time renting e-bikes from Fat Tire Bike Rentals and hope to get back out there in the future to go again. Chris did an excellent job instructing us on how to use the bikes and in directing us to the Vine Trail without having to contend with busy roads. The bikes are comfortable and easy to use and make for an enjoyable way to visit Napa County towns.
