We had a great time exploring Napa and the surrounding areas on the ebikes. We were a group of 6, 3 couples. We had planned ahead for 1 tasting, but Chris the owner gave us a couple other reccomendations that would take walk in, and WOW did they not disappoint. He had us in a couple great areas of easy riding that made it feel like we were in the Italy country side.After we booked Chris went out of his way to help answer our questions, and took our lunch orders. The lunch was a charcuterie style board, it was amazing, plenty of meat, cheese, fruits and more.Overall we spent 7hrs out for the day, tasted 3 wineries and had an amazing day seeing the beautiful scenery.If we could recommend anything from our Napa trip, we would push this to the top of the list.not to mention there bikes were in great shape, easy to use and we loved supporting a small family business.Nikki & Crew Cleveland, OH

A great night out
Awesome ride - we've ridden trains in 26 states. This is a first class operation. Easy to make a reservation, very nice waiting room before boarding the train. The train itself is well preserved, the host was exceptionally friendly and helpful in explaining the history of the valley and the wineries along the way. Food was outstanding. Highly recommend for a great night out.

WOW! My husband and I chose the shorter, 3 hour train ride from Napa to St. Helena and back in the dining car with the 3 course gourmet meal and it was FANTASTIC. The views were spectacular, the train ride was so cool, the server was AMAZING as was all of the food!! So much flavor, and the portions were perfect. We are simple, regular people from Nebraska, and were a little worried that it would be too "gourmet" to taste good for "meat n potatoes" kind of folks, but we took a chance - and I tell you this food was delicious. Absolutely. SO GOOD. The cost of the experience was very reasonable considering all that you get. I tried the Millionaire's Coffee off of the drinks menu which was so, so yummy. Such a wonderful, unforgettable experience. We highly recommend it! Afterwards, we booked a tour of a local winery and the caves with a tasting, which was great as well. A perfect day.

Highly recommend!! We had an absolute blast. We loved the e-bikes and everyone at Fat Tire was so helpful and nice. The picnic lunch exceeded our expectations (we thought we would get a couple crackers and cheese - ended up with meats, cheeses, bread, olives, dried fruit and more!). We will definitely come back. It was a fantastic way to tour around Napa!

A friend and I have always wanted to do the Wine Train and we finally decided on the Gourmet Dinner. Upon boarding the train we were seated at a nice booth and were give a glass of champagne, we were greeted by our server who was so sweet. The menu options were great and we both had the short rib with mashed potatoes and grilled carrots. For desert we had the crème Brule and the lemon tarte which was to die for. And the scenery I have to say was beautiful with the sun setting over all of the vineyards. I know that some would say that it's expensive and not worth it but, if it's on your bucket list believe me it's a must do. I plan on doing it again with my daughter very soon.

A must do experience for first timers
This was great, and fun. We did the dining option, which was as others have said expensive. However, it was 6 hours, two winery stops, one tasting on the train stop, and a breakfast, then lunch three courses. Two 24 person cars, fun hosts, and great scenery on the ride (can't see that when you have to drive). Our winery stops were, Charles Krug and V Sattui. Both had nice tastings and were very informative ( See separate reviews).

Great bike rentals for a full day!
My husband and I rented bikes from Fat Tire Bike Rentals in downtown Napa and had the best time visiting 3 wineries on our own. The owner at the shop was super helpful when planning out our trip/ which route to take and getting us comfortable using e-bikes. They also set you up with everything you need, a basket, water, phone case, helmet, etc. The rental process, pick up and drop off was super easy and efficient.

The train decor is gorgeous and enchanting!!! The staff is amazing! All are so welcoming, kind, friendly and are making sure you are enjoying the experience. We celebrated my 50th birthday during the Mystery Dinner event. The food was exquisite!!!Everyone had a great time, the actors went above and beyond to engage with the audience, and we were all dressed up and enjoying every second of it!!! It was an exceptional, wonderful and magical experience!!!Thanks to Jorge, Food and Beverage Manager and his entire staff specially Marina and Michelle for everything!!! Loved it and will be back!!!

After a wonderful experience 2 years ago, we returned to the wine train to celebrate a family birthday. It was a spectacular trip - just like before. The centerpiece of our jaunt was the gourmet meal. My wife ordered grilled salmon & I called for beef tenderloin. Our choices were spectacular! These were served at our private intimate table to the accompaniment of the green Napa vineyards rolling past our picture window. Hey guy, do not hesitate - you need to get some of this!

The best food we ate the entire trip! Very relaxing atmosphere. $20 corkage fee if you bring your own wine onto the train. 3 course meal. Every course better than the last! Great date spot. Loved looking around the train and seeing the vineyards.

My husband and I really enjoyed our journey on the Napa Valley Wine Train. The menu was diverse and dinner was delicious. We enjoyed exploring the train and were pleased to spend time in different cars. We were slightly disappointed to hear that wine is NOT included on the wine train (extra charge).

We went on the wine train with my sister, her fiance and our parents. It was quite nice. We went once before but it was many years ago. We had the early dinner seating which worked well for us. The salad was light and fresh with a dijon vinaigrette dressing. The goat cheese was a great compliment, it was tangy and the fat in cheese is great with a glass of wine. I had the roast chicken for dinner. I was a little worried that the lemon and thyme would be too subtle and the chicken would be plain but I was wrong. There was a lot of flavor with a rich sauce. The quinoa on top was wonderfully crunchy. The bitterness of the arugula worked well and the snap peas were nice and sweet, I would have liked a few more! I had the chocolate mousse for dessert. The caramel chips were buttery and the cream balanced the chocolate well.
