We had a great experience...
We had a great experience with platypus tours and I would use them again without hesitation. Prior to the tour, they communicated with us about our pickup and details about what the expect. On the day of, we were picked up at our hotel right on time, and taken to three wineries, one well known one and two smaller boutique ones. Each winery had great service and quality wines, and the included lunch was tasty and served in a beautiful setting at the second winry. We also enjoyed the group of people we went with and it was an overall great experience. The tasting fees are not included, but are discounted for the tour members so it really was reasonably priced. Taking ubers to these wineries alone would probably cost as much, if not more, than this tour, so it was an incredible value. I cannot recommend this tour enough, and would definitely use Platypus again when I'm in the area.

Paul was the absolute best guide, and really made the whole experience so fun and amazing. Each vineyard we went to had a different vibe, fantastic wine, a delicious lunch, and we met beautiful people from all over the country that we even hung out with after the tour. It was one of the highlights of our Napa girls trip and I highly recommend!

We did this tour recently and absolutely loved it! Our guide, Mike, was so friendly and really knowledgeable about the history of the area. Even on the busier roads, we felt completely safe and looked after throughout.With so many wineries to choose from in Sonoma, we were feeling a bit overwhelmed about where to go, but this tour took all the stress out of it and picked some fantastic wineries for us. It was such a fun and relaxed way to experience the area.We’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sonoma and looking to enjoy some great wine tasting!

Devin is a delightful host. We had such a good time with him on the tour. He is extremely well versed in the area history. He has procured an amazing group of venues that all served exceptional N.A. offerings. He is very personable and delightful company. I would highly recommend this tour even to people who drink. Bites were very generous— no need to eat beforehand!

My husband and I had a great tour with Abby! We have had great luck with walking city history/food/wine tours in the past and were not disappointed with this one for Sonoma. Our tour group was small with a total of five which kept the experience personal. Abby provided us a great overview of the history of Sonoma and the food included in the tour. All the business were locally owned and operated. Abby took pictures of us at all the stops and provided us with a map, recommendations and a digital photobook at the end of the tour.
